The Haval brand will launch Russian sales of the new H7 crossover before the end of this year. As Avto.ru Magazine learned, this designation will be given to a model known in the home market as the second generation Haval Dargo. In addition, the appearance of the new H9 SUV in our country has been confirmed.
The new Haval Dargo (aka DaGou) differs from the one currently sold in Russia in size, design and engine range. With dimensions of 4705x1908x1780 millimeters, it has a wheelbase of 2810 millimeters. The crossover has retained the overall angularity of the body, but at the same time is endowed, for example, with more expressive rear pillars and a differently designed front end. The interior uses a new media system and large displays with a diagonal of 12.3 and 14.6 inches.
In the home market, DaGou has both conventional internal combustion engines and several hybrid units that develop from 326 to 378 horsepower, but deliveries of gas-electric crossovers to Russia are unlikely. Presumably, the Haval H7 will come to our country with 1.5 and 2.0 liter turbo engines, which provide 184 and 238 hp in their homeland. in combination with robotic boxes. All-wheel drive is available for the more powerful engine.
According to preliminary data, Haval will open sales of the H7 this fall. At the same time, another new product should soon be added to the Russian brand line – the relatively compact H3, which will be equipped exclusively with a one and a half liter engine, but in two output options. With a more powerful version of the engine, the crossover will become all-wheel drive.
