The Russian Federation ranks second in Europe for the sale of cars
For the third year, Russia has been occupying only the second place for the sale of cars from salons, among other European states. It turned out that this year Germany is in the first place, which has been hitting all records for the sale of new cars for several years. In 2013, Russia was implemented in 2013.590.000 cars. Confirming the data of this fact is presented by the Avtostat Automobile Agency based on the information received from national associations of vehicle manufacturers in Europe.
Compared to 2012, when Russia sold almost three million cars, the domestic automobile market after which fell by 6 percent. The stabilization of car markets, according to the forecast of the experts of the “Association of European Business”, was in mid -2013, but judging by the data provided, stabilization did not occur.
The undoubted leader in the market of automobile sales remains Germany, which in 2013 sold about 2.9 million new cars. Despite this, back in 2012, this country had 4.2 percent less car sales. Plus, the forecast of experts promises an increase in the sale of German cars, which will come close to the mark of three million new cars sold.
The five leading countries for sales of new vehicles include: in the first place in Germany- 2, 95 million sales, in second place in Russia- 2, 59 million sales, in third place of the UK- 2.26 million sales, fourth place France- 1.79 millions of sales, and in fifth place Italy is 1.3 million sales.
The third place is occupied by the UK, which has been showing excellent results for six years. The growth in sales of vehicles in this country has been going on for twenty -two months in a row.
The following France and Italy. In December alone, Italian markets showed sales growth. This is what indicates the need to update the local fleet, which is one of the most profitable in Europe.
