Therefore, almost all automakers are trying to actively master this niche. So the American concern threw into battle the new Ford Ecosport to conquer its market share. Although, it will not be entirely correct to call it new. I first saw Ecosport with my own eyes last year in India. Unfortunately, our market is a priority, in terms of representing new products, is not yet.
The new crossover is the second generation of the model. The first was made by the Brazilian unit Ford. The car was designed for the Asian market and the countries of Latin America. Built it on the Fusion hatchback platform. Ecosport turned out to be inexpensive and practical so the demand for him surpassed all the expectations. Engineers of the Central Office Ford have already taken up the development of an updated model. The appearance and interior of the salon was completely processed under the new Ford style. So the new Ford Ecosport has many common features with the senior fellow Ford Kuga.
Of course, modest dimensions do not allow us to count on a large space inside the cabin, but for the driver and front passenger there is enough space, and the back is not closely closely. And with short trips, three can accommodate on the back sofa. Well, the trunk, thanks to the spare tank on the back door, turned out to be very roomy for a compact car – 380 liters. The largest in its class.

Both motors are quite nimble, but in terms of overcoming obstacles, 140 looks preferable – a strong engine. He has a reserve of traction on lifts and off -road. The energy -intensive suspension and a solid clearance allow, if necessary, it is easy to overcome obstacles, although the main element of the crossover is city streets.
In general, the new Ford Ecosport turned out to be very interesting. He feels like a fish in the water in the city jungle, but is also capable of off – Road feats. True, the price tag is 799 thousand rubles for the basic modification, you can’t call the little one either. Nevertheless, there is no doubt, fans of this compact crossover will have.
