Another more common way to invest in cars is to buy and resell “fresh” used cars. Perhaps people who engage in such business can be veiledly called collectors, but in Russia a different term is used – outbid.
No matter how sarcastic it may sound, this segment provides relatively stable income with a small initial capital, in contrast to the same classic cars. But at the same time, this option requires a lot of labor, knowledge of the market and the client.
New cars lose about 20% in value as soon as they leave the dealership. But not every used car has the potential to increase in price. It is important to understand what kind of car is in demand in what region of the country, whether there is a lot of competition in this segment, whether the car has high liquidity and whether it is possible to significantly increase the cost with minimal investments in cosmetic repairs. It would seem that take a Toyota, they always become more expensive, and you won’t go wrong. Yes, Kruzaks, Camrys and Prados do have very high liquidity. But finding a good copy from the owner for little money will not be easy.
