Several Polish engineers and designers planned to create a modern version of the legendary Syrena Sport compartment. The original car was built at the Polish FSO plant in the period 1950-1960, however, for a number of political and economic reasons, it did not get into serial production. The car was equipped with an independent front and rear suspension, and its fiberglass case was located on a steel frame.
The original Syrena was driven by an aluminum two -cylinder engine with a volume of 0, 7 liters and a capacity of 35 horsepower. The engine was created specifically for this car, and it was driven into motion using a four -speed manual gearbox. The car weighed only 710 kilograms and was distinguished by amazing dynamics.
The modern version of the car has become much more powerful and elegant. Many motorists would like to get behind the wheel of a bright concept and any driving school would be able to teach even those who still do not know how to drive. But the problem is that the Poles managed to create only a sketch and only in the near future they will take up the creation of a single test copy that can develop into a small series of cars.
The body of the new car will be made of a variety of polymers, and its “heart” will become a six -cylinder motor from Nissan 370z, which issues 330 “horses”. The modified version of the engine will give 450 “horses”.
The weight of modern Syrena will not exceed 1,300 kilograms, which will allow the car to accelerate to “hundreds” in 4.5 seconds, developing the maximum speed equal to 290 km/h/h. Polish designers can not say anything about the timing of the implementation of their project.
